Iron Cult is a modern alternative rock band -power trio from Birmingham Alabama. Their name comes from growing up in Birmingham seeing their families struggle working for the iron and steel industry, like being members of a cult. Prospering one day then laid off by the steel mill the next. Turning to music as an escape Iron Cult was born. heavily influenced by Black Sabbath ,Led Zeppelin , Nirvana and Sound garden with heavy guitar riffs and solid drums. Iron Cult Created a power trio to pay homage to Cream, Hendrix and ZZ top.
